My Top 5 Lip Colour Products..

Posted by chloechloechloe at 08:52 0 comments
Hello! I fancied sharing my top 5 lip colour products in no particular order, all the colours I own are quite similar but these are my most used. Rimmel London and Revlon are pretty much the only brands I buy lip products from because I know I will get good value for my money and they work really well with my lips which are usually very dry, so after I've popped on some lip balm (currently Blistex MedPlus in Cherry Berry) they turn out really great!

Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain's are the perfect pop in your bag, on the go product. Mine's in the shade 001 Honey I love it because it is subtle but it just pulls the look together and it smells like mint which is really refreshing! I want more 'chubby crayons' as I like to call them.

Revlon ColorStay Ultimate Suede in the colour 050 Couture is a nice calm raspberry colour and I feel like you could wear this day or night. The texture is smooth and I suppose 'Suede' like. The clicking noise the packing makes when you twist the bottom makes me happy (irrelevant)

Revlon ColorBurst Lip Butter are by far the best product for people with really dry lips it is very moisturising and lasts quite a while before drying. In the picture I am wearing 025 Peach Parfait which is a peachy colour with gold shimmery bits in, normally I am scared of anything with glitter in but this is the perfect amount, not too much! I also have the lip butter in 035 Candy Apple and 096 Macaroon and I plan on getting more!

Rimmel Kate Matte Lipstick in 107 is the perfect fall/winter colour, even though I would wear it all year round. The picture does not do this red wine colour justice it is lovely! I love Kate Moss' lipsticks I also have one of her Lasting Finish lipsticks in the black packaging in shade 05 which I also adore. They both apply velvety and last a long time without re-applying. They also smell nice!

Rimmel London Apocalips Lip Lacquer is amazing! You only need a little bit and it goes far. The pigmentation is incredible and is really moisturising. I have it in the colour 400 Big Bang which is a really vibrant red. Just be careful when applying because too much can be very messy.

Well I hope you try some of these products and enjoy them as much as me! x

Picking Yourself Up..

Posted by chloechloechloe at 07:40 0 comments
Yes, I am one of those people that get up in my own head and make myself feel ridiculously down, upset and very insecure. It's not nice and I am sure many, many people get this way and of course everyone has their down days. I find that looking at motivational and uplifting quotes helps a little bit, not solving your issues but helping you see a bit of light on the situation. So I thought I'd share a few of my favourite quotes, most are in fact typography because I think it's cool to set them as phone or computer wallpapers so you can look at them whenever you need to.

I'll start of with the quote I have had as my phone background for quite a while, it is the title of Ben Howard's (who I adore so much) amazing song 'Keep Your Head Up'

Here are a few more I really like;

I really love this Mark Twain quote;

“Life is short, break the rules, forgive quickly, kiss slowly, love truly, laugh uncontrollably, and never regret anything that made you smile. Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn't do than by the ones you did. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbour. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.”

Hope you enjoyed this post and you find some quotes you love! x

Girl 'Crushes'

Posted by chloechloechloe at 15:18 1 comments
Why hello there, today is a Friday and I have spent all day indoors, yes the weather is stunning but I am still indoors and I've been on tumblr a lot. Being on tumblr a lot is a normal occurrence for me but I realised I have many girl 'crushes', I say crushes but its more an admiration of their style, humour, acting, singing and of course being jealous of their beauty. So here is my top 10 girl crushes in no particular order.. I could probably think of more than 10 but lets try and keep it short.

1.Emma Watson;I've admired Miss Watson ever since I first saw her in the Harry Potter franchise (fave) she is so elegant and put together as you can tell in interviews. I think she is a great role model for young girls and teenagers, she cant do anything wrong in my eyes love her!

 2.Jennifer Lawrence;
Jennifer is just brilliant in every interview I have ever seen her in! She makes me laugh, sometimes with tears (when she tripped up the stairs to collect her OSCAR) she's just so cool. I love how she steers the press away from talking about her weight and talks about food a lot. She also plays Katniss Everdeen in The Hunger Games! I couldn't possibly worship her anymore.

3.Kat Dennings;
SMOKIN' HOT! Oh my lord she has amazing curves and she's proud of them which I think is inspiring to many young women. I love her playing Max in '2 Broke Girls' and Norah in 'Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist' which is one of my favourite films!

4.Emma Stone;Emma is the definition of fabulous. Every film she's in I adore from Easy A, The House Bunny and The Amazing Spiderman she can play any role! Plus she's dating one of my male crushes Andrew Garfield.. I totally ship them! Emma is also the face of Revlon which is my favourite makeup brand.

5. Lily Collins;Lily is the beautiful daughter of Phil Collins but she has made a name for herself in films like Abduction and Mirror Mirror. I can't help but look at pictures of her I adore her style and bold eyebrows!

6. Chloë Grace Moretz;
We are the same age and she has already achieved so much more than I ever will in my entire lifetime. She has starred opposite Johnny Depp... JOHNNY FREAKING DEPP. I applaud her sophisticated style and I would love to be friends with her she just seems so cool, am I right?

7.Kendall and Kylie Jenner;Stunning! They are the Kardashian's younger sisters but they have made themselves known in the modelling world. Most famously modelling for Sherri Hill! They have also brought our their own line in Pac Sun which I would be all over it if I lived in the US. They make me wish I had a sister!
8.Selena Gomez;Selena is gorgeous and I was a huge fan of 'Wizards Of Waverly Place' and I am not ashamed to admit that I like her music, so damn catchy! Love her style!

9.Lana Del Rey;I can't even fathom the words together to tell you how much I admire the incredible Lana not only does she always look mesmerising in her unique style but she also has a very unique voice which I love!

10.Florence Welch;Florence is the first woman singer I adored, she is so different and her music is fabulous. I had the privilege to see her live and let me tell you she is just as flawless in real life, her face, her amazing figure and her rare, lovely voice. She is 100% one of my biggest style icons.. I probably wouldn't be as brave as her but I admire her all the same.

Underrated Artists & Songs I Love..

Posted by chloechloechloe at 13:32 0 comments
Hola, I thought I'd share a few of my favourite songs and artists that I feel are not as well known as they should be as undeniably they have incredible talent! I've put the YouTube link below the descriptions if you fancy checking them out!

1.Youth by Daughter;
Such a beautiful song, Elena Tonra's voice is so mesmerising and seriously spine tingling. As in the name of the title the lyrics reflect why we should still be youthful and not have so much on our minds and drama in our lives.

2.The Girl by City and Colour;
Relaxed. That's how I feel when I listen to this great track and the lyrics are also so beautiful. Dallas Green is possibly my favourite singer right now, of course I didn't get his whole discography based off this one song... okay maybe I did but that leads me on to...

2.5.The Death Of Me by City and Colour (clever 'Dallas' and 'Green')
I don't know what it is about this song but it makes me feel like I am not alone? Strange I know but just give it a listen and it may help you too!

3.Big Black Car by Gregory Alan Isakov;
If ears had breath it would have took it away, stunning track.

4.Bloom by The Paper Kites;
I've loved this song for quite a while now and it honestly deserves so many more fans such a chilled song that never gets old to me. Have you had a hard day? Click on the link.

5.Waiting For You by Josh Kumra;
This guy is fantastic! His voice is just ah, I can't even put it into words, his album 'Good Things Come To Those Who Don't Wait' is brilliant and I love his passion. I could have chosen any of the songs of the album but this is the first one I heard. He needs more recognition!

6.9 Crimes by Damien Rice;
WARNING: This song is very, very, very depressing, not going to lie but it is such a gorgeous song. Damien Rice's voice is always perfection but Lisa Hannigan's added vocals just adds that extra beauty.

So there you have it a few songs and artists I adore who are quite underrated, hope you enjoyed reading and you like the songs! x
