What I Learnt At Primary School...

Posted by chloechloechloe at 15:13 0 comments
This year I finally finished five years of high school (hell) and previous to this I spent eight years in primary school (not as bad) and I learnt a few things along with the abc's and how to count to ten.

Starting off with Nursery, I learnt that you should never scream like you are being murdered after being stung on the cheek (face you filthy person) and probably making your parent feel super embarrassed after you have attracted the entire playgrounds attention.

In Reception I think this was around the time I learnt to share. Rule number one on toy day never be a bitch always share, this will help you in further play times and could possibly give you friends. Yes at the time giving your worst enemy your favourite polly pocket doll to play with for ten minutes when her mum forgot to pack her a toy probably seemed like hell but when she brings in her bratz dolls in future years you can remind her of this heroic moment.

Year One taught me to make sure you check your shoes before school to check if you have stood in dog shit. Guess what young Chloe did... sat on the carpet at story time and touched the bottom of my shoe, yes the dog's excretion was now on my hand and I felt like dying then and there. I think this is where my germ phobia stems from. Also this year I learnt that I was very sassy and when I moved to a new school I got chosen to play Mary in the nativity (bitches were jel) I clearly made an impression on that teacher. Of course I worked it and sung my heart out which is still a regular occurrence.

Year Two I realised at school you are actually meant to work. Crushing my dreams of school was fun. Since this year I hardly get my hopes up. I also went to a synagogue, was it amazing and beautiful inside you ask... I can't even remember, waste of my mums money to be honest. I also think this was the year I became a tomboy joining the boys with my best mate Katie on the football pitch. Some of the boys were like 'no this isn't for girls' and I now realise this was so sexist (rude).

Year Three one of my favourite years in school because I had an amazing teacher who always told us awesome stories. I learnt that if the law that teachers could hit children were to come back and I would be smacked on the arse with a cane, I should do what his friend Mary did and put magazines down my pants. This was a year I discovered I had the moves like jagger hahaha no. I performed in a school assembly to the classic hit 'Sound Of The Underground' by Girls Aloud.

Year Four I learnt that I was a very good speller and a proud moment in my life when I was the only person in the class who could spell 'neighbourhood' #WINNING. I also gained a rebel addiction to chopping off the tops of pencil crayons with scissors (I never got caught) Oh and how could I forget that if you become a prestigious member of the choir you could sit at the back on benches, I repeat ON BENCHES! not on the floor where food from dinner time still remained with cramp in your legs.

Year Five NEVER TALK IN A TEST. Teachers will make you feel degraded and take marks off your test, a test which I actually got full marks in *cough* Also nasty girls may steal food from your lovely bratz lunch box while you are on milk and fruit duty, so maybe buy a padlock? Problem solving was also a thing at this time which I enjoyed, I think that's why I am interested in crime solving and such.

Year Six At the beginning of the year my amazing teacher made us sing every morning which I loved and made school fun but then she left and your new teacher may target you and your best friend and make you feel alienated but don't take that shit, she just jel of your bromance. Never get into her car to go to an away football match, it will smell like her childs piss (shiver) and yes she has condoms in her drawer, why? a school desk you say? I will never know. In maths class I sat at a girls desk where her pull out drawer was full of my secret unicorn books, I didn't appreciate this when I had to stand up to see my work on the desk it was that over filled.

Overall primary school was cool we also sand Dido songs and Bob Dylan's classic song 'blowin' in the wind' which is still a personal favourite and I learnt some life lessons. I hope you enjoyed this post because I will probably post about what I learnt in high school other than useless algebra which I'm still rubbish at and how to spell onomatopoeia x

Dealing With Loss..

Posted by chloechloechloe at 08:47 0 comments
I've been debating in my head whether or not I wanted to post about this topic is it is very deep and upsetting to many people but I felt that writing this would help me cope with losing my dog. You're either sat there now thinking wow it's just a dog or you empathise with the fact that dogs are friends and mine was my best friend.

We got our beautiful family dog when I was 7 from Manchester Dog's Home, my dad chose her because she was sat in the corner on her own sitting lovely whilst the other dogs were barking and jumping up at each other. I wanted to call her Molly because that was the name of my favourite doll and being the youngest member of the family everyone agreed. Honestly Molly was really mischievous the first few months we had her, tipping over the bin, eating frozen burgers out of the freezer, stealing my toys, eating our underwear and even once eating a razor blade so the fact she lived many years later was an accomplishment!

Either way we loved her and we didn't give up on her! She was a great dog and stopped being naughty, although she still did have her moments! My nieces would play with her and sometimes accidently hurt her and she never once snapped at anyone. She really was beautiful inside and out. I've had so many amazing memories with her and I'll never ever forget any of them. She's made me crack up laughing when she went nuts over walkies, apples and chocolate, so you can imagine how wild she got at Halloween when we bought chocolate apples! I remember when she jumped into this lake covered in green moss and I was screaming because I didn't know she could swim and was scared we would lose her then but she managed to get out! Never mind the countless times she'd got out of the house and into the road! She once escaped from my Nan's and ran all the way back to our house luckily my brother found her sitting on the doorstep!

I think she really enjoyed living with us and I really do hope she knew I loved her so much. On the 13th August we sadly had to put her to sleep as she was in so much pain, she was struggling to breath and her back legs had completely gone. Everyone was breaking their hearts crying because we couldn't believe how quick she had gotten ill. The vet assured us it was best if she was put to sleep and we really didn't want her to suffer. I couldn't go to the vets because I really didn't want to see her being scared in the vets she really hated it there and I knew if she could get up she would of ran away as soon as she knew where she was going! I kissed her and hugged her so many times and I wish I could still give her more.

Even though I can't stop getting upset, I realise that Molly was very lucky, she had nine lives even if she was a dog. I really really miss her and I would do anything to get to stroke her and cuddle her again but she lived an amazing life and none of us can forget how much enjoyment she has brought to our lives. So even though she has gone it is comforting to have my family around and we can laugh and cry at all the silly positions she'd sleep in, together.

There is a song by Danna Richards called Smile that one of my favourite youtubers Shay Carl used in his video when his dog sadly passed away and I have really found comfort in it. So even though she's not here in body she still is in spirit and if I have a bad day I can think of how comforting she was whenever I was sad. It is heart-breaking that we lost her and I still keep hoping she will be in bed when I come downstairs in the morning but it will get easier and although it is so hard right now the love of my family and friends have really helped.

I love you Molly and I hope you are lapping up all the chocolate apples you can find in doggy heaven. I could never have asked for a better first pet, thanks for being amazing. You will always be in my heart x

Perfect Lazy Friday Afternoon and 1D lipstick...

Posted by chloechloechloe at 08:04 0 comments
Hello it is Friday and this week I've spent a lot of time with my cheeky nieces who can be devils occasionally, my sweet grandma and stayed at my best friends house where we had a really cute girly night, a heart to heart, coffee, marshmallows, salted popcorn and dancing and singing like fools all night but it was great. However it is safe to say my body is quite tired from the lack of sleep so I wanted to chill out this Friday afternoon after going shopping with my mum.

Here's some instructions on how to have a chilled Friday afternoon;
1. Have a coffee/tea/hot chocolate in your favourite mug;Whatever your pick is enjoy it, my pick is a Nescafe Caramel Latte YUM! In my cute 'vintage' style Mickey and Minnie cup (a Christmas present from my best friend in 2011)
2. Grab your favourite magazine or book; I usually buy Company mag every month but my local Asda didn't have them stocked (OUTRAGE) so I settled for my second favourite Glamour which I'm glad I bought because the beautiful Lily Collins is on the cover and she is one of my girl crushes right now! At the moment I am re-reading the Harry Potter books because yes I still suffer from 'Post Potter Depression' I am just about to start the Chamber Of Secrets!
3. Don't forget to play some chilled music in the background;
Any songs that make you feel relaxed and clam should do the trick! Check out my next post on what's on my 'chilled' playlist.

These three simple steps should help to make you feel relaxed on your perfect lazy Friday afternoon... making a happy you.

A happy Chloe
On my lips I am wearing 'I Want' Liam Payne's shade from the new One Direction collection from MUA.. I mean One Direction + makeup = perfect right? Luckily for me this was my favourite colour out of the five (one for each member) as Liam is my favourite member) I love how the shades are all named after one of their songs and the tube has that certain members signature (the closest I'll get to a real one)

I am always impressed with MUA products and I am so happy with this lipstick for £3, it's moisturising and the colour stays on for ages! Very pleased think I will be purchasing Harry's shade next!

3 Cheap Eyeshadow Palettes I Regularly Use..

Posted by chloechloechloe at 04:33 0 comments
I really like make-up but sometimes it is super difficult to keep up with all the newest hypes when you just can't afford it. So I chose 3 palettes out of my collection that I really like using, the colours are quite neutral with some shimmer for a bit extra on your everyday look.

#1- MUA palette in 'Undressed'
MUA palettes have amazing pigmentation and blend really easily. I'm really glad I own this palette because they are really wearable for everyday and they are long lasting. For £4 you really cannot complain for 12 top notch eye shadows. I really can't wait to try the 'Undressed Me Too' palette!

#2- Kelly Brook Stone Lana Eye shadow Quad
These colours are great for a daytime look but can be built up to a more dramatic look using the dark shade. The quality isn't as good as the MUA shadows but for £2.99 I thought it was a great bargain for the look you can achieve with it. Kelly Brook's make-up collection is an exclusive line to New Look and the perfect size for popping in your bag too.

#3- MUA The Artiste Collection
Top from left to right; Pistachio, Mocca, Ice, Grape, Chocolate and Cookie (eye shadows)
Bottom from left to right; Pink Sparkle, Primrose (blushers) Bronzed (bronzer) and Shimmer Kiss (highlighter)
Eye shadows;  Mocca, Ice, Grape and Chocolate.
Coming in at number 3 is another MUA palette they are just amazing for the price. This cost me £6 which I think is brilliant for 6 really pigmented, long lasting colours, 2 pretty blushers, a nice bronzer for contouring and a subtle highlighter that is perfect and not too much. I can not say enough good things about the MUA palettes, so keep an eye out for them.

On a serious note I will definitely be purchasing more in the future (had my eye on 'Heaven and Earth' for while!

So that's the end of this post, hope you enjoyed reading about some affordable shadows and I apologise for the state of my palettes but at least you can tell they are used and I'm giving my honest opinion. I do use the brushes that come within the palettes but they are not AMAZING but they do the job so I use other brushes if I want an even better look.

Style Crushes...

Posted by chloechloechloe at 07:32 0 comments
I adore the Kardashian's/Jenner's so much, not only are they really successful entrepreneurs/models, they are hilarious, stunning and very fashionable. They all have a hint of uniqueness in how they dress but overall I couldn't choose whose style I like best because I would wear any outfit these ladies wear. Kourtney, Kim and Khloe obviously have a bit more of a sophisticated style but they still dress chic and girly. However Kendall and Kylie are seen to be quite quirky with their style going from girly to rock n roll. LOVE.
Kourtney wearing a really gorgeous playsuit with a chic white blazer
Kim wearing black skinnies with an angelic like blazer
Khloe works a denim shirt with daring red jeans with matching leopard print shoes and belt
Kendall looks all natural and casual in a plain vest and high waisted shorts
Kylie looks great in this lovely outfit, her simple necklace and military boots complete the look

OOTD Quick Shopping Trip

Posted by chloechloechloe at 11:36 0 comments

Hey there, today I went to town with my mother just to get a few bits and bats and then get some grub.

I wore a black and white polka dot crop top from New Look (£6.99) I am obsessed with polka dots at the moment I've got a phone case that matches and I've been eyeing up a skirt in H&M.

The jeans are dark blue and high waisted also from New Look (£22.99 roughly) I also have the maroon pair. They are by far my most comfortable jeans I've worn them out so much. The belt is black with little red and white flowers, I think it gives it a nice touch, it came in a set of two from Primark (affordable haha) and I just wore purple converse to add a little colour.

I left my hair natural because I am trying to use less heat and my makeup is minimal but I have Revlon ColorStay Ultimate Suede in 050 Couture on my lips.

Hope you enjoyed this quick post x
