Aloha! It was Valentine's day yesterday, if you didn't know this then what planet do you live on? Valentine's is probably the second most talked about holiday after Christmas. The day you tell your lover how much you adore them (that's if you are lucky enough to have a lover)I am single. However this doesn't mean you can't have a lovely day! You can still share the love with your family and friends! I was meant to be spending a day with my best friend but icky bugs attacked me in my sleep and I was too ill to stay out.. even sadder times.
So I spent the day wrapped up in bed, with the occasional trip to the bathroom, watching my Sex And The City box set. Good thing or bad thing? I'm still not 100% sure! I do love SATC, following the ups and downs of four women living in New York. Through the smiles and tears I can still rely on Carrie Bradshaw(Sarah Jessica Parker) to be flawless.
The beginning of the week started off a lot better, I made cupcakes with cute little hearts on to get in the love spirit and I painted my nails, a french manicure with little red hearts! Love this little design it's just cute and lovely! Then on Wednesday I went to the cinema with a bunch of my good friends, we watched Warm Bodies a new comedy/action/horror type film starring the BEAUTIFUL Nicholas Hoult who I already had a bit of a crush on from when he played Tony in Skins and Hank in X-Men: First Class. Overall my Valentine's day wasn't terrible and I don't hate this day, I'm just a bit bitter about all the cute couples sharing their love! I can still share my love though with my family and friends! And with that I'm finishing this post or I could blab on forever about how I wish my life was like a movie.
